We have attended this event for many years with our History Revisited Group and this year, we were there again at our living history camp. We were dressed in the uniforms of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry and the Scottish Horse in World War 1






May 8 2025 VE 80 London Fabulous day and great honour to pipe the Lantern of Peace onboard the Havengore (Churchills coffin boat) on the Thames for VE80 Day.

Sarah played for the village VE 80 Day Celebrations, including the tune specially composed, by PM Stuart Liddle, for the event called ''Celebratum''


EAPB joined other artists for the 2025 Baldock Folk Festival, photo is outside the Cock Public House on the High Street !

We were delighted to join the Somme Battlefield Pipe Band & the 48th Highlanders of Holland Pipe & Drums for a fabulous weekend. Saturday we joined a reenactment in Wilp and Sunday Holten Canadian War Cemetery to commemorate 80 years from liberation of Holland

another wedding - this time in Upham Hampshire. The weather was good, no rain and the bride and groom looked fantastic.

Franleu (France) June 25 2023 with The Battle of The Somme Pipe Band
(it was 30 degrees C !)




The village of Franleu was the scene of a very violent and heroic battle in the second World War.
The commemoration honored the 51st Highland Division and the people of Franleu village who lost their lives
Franleu is a commune in the Somme Department and 17kms from Abbeville



Carolyn & Phil joined The Commander of 51st Infantry Brigade and HQ Scotland in Saint Valery-en-Caux to take part in commemorations marking the 82nd anniversary of the battle in northern France. We played in St Valery en Caux and Veules-Les-Roses

Ceremonies also took place at Veules-les-Roses and many other small towns in the area as local people spared no effort in showing their gratitude and remembrance.
